Who owns this site

LongDistanceMedicalTransport.com is owned and operated by ACC Medlink, a long-distance medical transport company based in Florida. ACC Medlink is also one of three providers featured in the comparisons published on this site.

We disclose this up front because the “independent comparison” format is easy to misuse, and families researching medical transport deserve to know the financial relationship before they decide which providers to call.

Why we cover three providers, not just one

ACC Medlink’s service is ground-only and US-based. Some families who land on this site need air ambulance, international repatriation, or a level of nationwide ground coverage that ACC doesn’t prioritize. Recommending only ACC in those cases would push families toward a service that doesn’t fit their situation.

The two competitors we cover — CienOne (nationwide ground NEMT) and Air Critical Care (air ambulance and international medical escort) — were chosen because they handle the cases ACC Medlink isn’t the best fit for. We are not paid by either company.

How rankings are decided

Provider evaluations are based on publicly verifiable criteria: fleet quality and capacity, geographic coverage, medical staffing levels, patient comfort features, family accommodation, and ratings from independent review platforms (Customer Lobby, Birdeye). The criteria, weights, and methodology are listed on our About page.

ACC Medlink receives the “Top Choice” designation on this site. Readers should weigh that designation against our common ownership. The detailed comparison tables on each service page show the underlying differences so you can form your own view rather than relying on the summary label.

If you believe a competitor deserves a different rating or that a fact about CienOne or Air Critical Care is inaccurate, contact us — corrections are tracked and reflected in the next content review.

How this site is funded

This site is funded directly by ACC Medlink as part of its marketing operation. We do not earn referral fees, affiliate commissions, lead-purchase payments, or pay-per-call revenue from CienOne, Air Critical Care, or any other third party.

Handling conflicts of interest

Two practices we follow to keep the comparison content honest despite the ownership relationship:

• Ratings are sourced, not invented. Where we publish a rating value or review count for a provider, that figure is sourced from a publicly accessible third-party review platform (linked in the schema metadata). We do not display fabricated aggregate ratings for any provider, including ACC Medlink.
• Competitor facts are checked, not minimized. When CienOne or Air Critical Care offer a capability ACC Medlink doesn’t (e.g., international air ambulance), the comparison says so plainly. The goal is the family choosing the right transport for the patient, not the comparison shopping always landing on ACC.
